Lemn Sissay

Lemn Sissay

Poet

Absolutely loved shooting Lemn Sissay.

From being ‘a child of the state’ to an award-winning playwright and MBE, not to mention lyricist on Leftfield’s 21st Century Poem.

Lemn Sissay has a way with words.

Sam Claflin

Sam Claflin

A Wimbledon hotel provided the set for my latest shoot with Sam Claflin. The Hunger Games actor with whom I’d previously worked with on The Riot Club movie poster, was in good spirits despite the lack of sleep from becoming a new dad.

Sam is about to star in the long awaited film version of  ‘Me Before You’.

Chiwetel Ejiofor

Chiwetel Ejiofor

The Martian

Following on from last years BAFTA award for his portrayal of Solomon Northup in ’12 Years A Slave’  we see Chiwetel Ejiofor back with new movies including The Martian with Matt Damon, and the soon to be released epic Triple 9 with Woody Harrelson, Kate Winslet.

I’d previously shot Chiwetel for Paper Magazine in New York, great to see the only thing that has changed are the size of the movies…

Andrew Scott

Andrew Scott

It takes quite a talent to ‘out-charisma’ Benedict Cumberbatch – but when Andrew Scott strutted into Sherlock as his arch-nemesis Moriarty, that’s exactly what he did.

Having trodden the boards at The National Theatre and The Old Vic, Andrew Scott stars in the 24th Bond Film, Spectre, in which he was cast after working with director Sam Mendes on Broadway.

David Morrissey

David Morrissey

Red Magazine

Tender hearted tough guy, the talented Mr Morrissey with a CV that defies type casting hangs out with us on Hampstead Heath for this shoot.

Star of The Waking Dead and the upcoming BBC production The Driver, he even read the audio book for the other  Morrissey that sings a bit on the basis that they share the same name.

Ed Miliband

Ed Miliband

Red Magazine

An interesting day photographing Ed Miliband in The Opposition’s offices, we found the Labour party leader as relaxed as he’s going to get.

A different challenge this one breaking down the political stereotype safety net of acceptable poses, amongst a constant buzzing of yes men chirping in my ear whilst shooting.

Amongst all the riff-raff, Ed Miliband is a proper gent, you just need a chainsaw to get there.
